![]() Providing references such as details of work experience that you are proud of or feedback from professionals who can provide an objective, but probably positive, opinion of you as a person may also prove useful. ![]() It is important that the cover letter and the CV should be mutually consistent, and that their content should respond to the expectations formulated in the vacancy notice or the job description. The cover letter should not be longer than one page and – unlike the CV – should always be signed by hand (if submitted as a printed version). Explain how you found out about the job, what position you are applying for, what skills and abilities you have that are relevant to the job, why you think you are the best candidate for the job, what your goals and plans are, etc.
